Mr Ellis and his team were brilliant from the outset. Everything went very smooth and moved along swiftly from initial consultation, to MRI, to operation. Mr Ellis explained everything very clearly and all was documented just as clear. All correspondence was very concise and quickly received. Would definitely choose to use this doctor again, although I hope I don’t need to. Would highly recommend. I appreciate all that Mr Ellis did for me - Thank you. Jamie May

I was very impressed by the level of care and attention to my individual condition and concerns that was shown by Mr Ellis - as I am the wrong side of 85 and my knees have been giving bad problems for some years without any prospect of meaningful treatment by the NHS, I was very pleasantly surprised by the thoroughness of Mr Ellis' initial assessment and consultation, and the speedy delivery of initial treatment by injection to the worst knee which has considerably eased my pain and inflammation and greatly improved my mobility. I will have no hesitation in recommending him to anyone with knee problems, he is first-rate, and will be consulting him for further treatments as necessary.

Mr. Ellis brings a level of reassurance and ensuing comfort that exudes not only his confidence but kindness. He makes you feel at ease immediately and that you'll be in safe hands! Both of my anterior cruciate ligaments, sporting injuries some twenty years apart, have now been repaired by Mr. Ellis's uniquely skilled hands coupled with his due care and diligence, using the patella back then and the hamstring method more recently. The service I have been afforded and the level of associated care by this esteemed Doctor can only be described as 'World Class' in my humble opinion and I would whole heartedly recommend Mr. Ellis and additionally his extremely knowledgeable team to anyone whom is considering surgery. My ageing bodies natural healing had been much slower than anticipated so his team rescheduled my post-op appointment without fuss, conducting on-line zoom sessions and calls directly with Mr. Ellis in the interim. Additionally due to the nature of my operation a weekly diary was kept and monitored so every concern dealt with by a follow up call with a trained professional, nothing has been too much for Mr. Ellis and his team. At one stage even arranging medication by prescription for a cramp issue, to be dropped off a few miles away at my home as I live on my own and wasn't long after surgery so was unable to drive! That's not your typical service, over and above comes to mind! If you have any concern's about anything speak to Mr. Ellis and his team whom are a credit to him and Kims Hospital too, all will allay your fears and as stated before, the level of trust I personally have in Mr. Ellis over the decades has never faltered and I cannot recommend him highly enough, be it here at Kims or elsewhere that he practises. The rest of the team in theatre were super professional, kind and answered my every question to my satisfaction. Also on the day the room was beautiful, light and clean, food was surprisingly tasty and drinks a plenty! I was made to feel as though I was visiting a spa for the day! Post-surgery Sam in the physio department tailored my regimented physical therapy to me and my unique physiology. It's refreshing to be treated as an individual. Mr. Ellis knows how to pick a great team. Good luck for whatever you decide and hopefully you'll be walking out and about and back to your old self soon enough too. As for me, I'm finally able to move into the next stage of my life involving professional acting, dancing and the creative arts, the gratitude I owe Mr. Ellis personally in helping me to achieve my life goals, goes without saying, is immeasurable!

I was recommended to see Mr Ellis having been passed between a number of different care providers who had been unable to resolve my knee pain, He listened with great patience to my history and provided insightful feedback on immediate steps to take to help with the pain. He also laid out a plan for immediate treatment and a clear path for the longer term if it becomes necessary. I left the appointment with great confidence in the consultation which has made me hopeful of a way forward to get my mobility back and reduce the pain in my knee.
